Pen and ink illustration for a children's book cover artwork.  Using dip pens and brush a distinctivehand drawn line art was created, scanned and goven a bold block colouring.

Just point the way for high seas adventure.  When creating a complex children’s book illustration with a crew of characters, roughs are created for each individual and developed collaboratively with the client before the story is laid out on pencil.

Commissioned by Scottish Book Trust for Bookbug week. Line in pencil illustration and coloured on Photoshop. The theme for the artwork is travel and shows children reading on the bus, the books they read fire their imagination and take them to differ places.

Putting on a school play is even harder when the lights go out.  Pen and ink illustration was layered to create different colours and effects.
